What is anodized coating and its function?
As we all know anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative,
durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Aluminum is ideally suited to anodizing, although other
nonferrous metals, such as magnesium and titanium, also can be anodized.
Second what is anodized black?
Black Anodizing is the technique used to dye the surface of a metal black. During the anodizing process,
before the sealing stage, the oxidized surface of the metal has the ability to be dyed.
Third what is the anodized coating function?
1.product corrosion prevention: the film obtained by anodic oxidation is properly sealed and has good stability
in the atmosphere. The corrosion resistance of the oxide film obtained from sulfuric acid solution, oxalic acid
solution or chromic acid solution in normal process is very good, such as daily aluminum pots, pots, washing
machine liners, etc.
2. As protection and decoration: on the oxide film with high transparency, the oxide film can adsorb a variety
of organic dyes or inorganic pigments. On the oxide film, various bright colors and patterns can be obtained.
In addition, in recent years, many new processes have emerged, such as one-time oxidation and multiple
coloring, fireworks patterns, wood grain patterns, oxidation offset transfer printing, porcelain oxidation, etc.
3. as a hard wear-resistant layer: in sulfuric acid or oxalic acid solution, thick and hard film can be obtained
by adjusting the process conditions of anodic oxidation. The hole and absorption performance of the film
can be used to store the selected oil, which can be effectively applied to the working conditions under the
friction state. At the same time, it has lubrication and wear resistance.
And we have ever made some CNC machining samples with anodized coating for our Spanish customer,
all the samples looks good. The customer was satisfied with the product.
